OK, my friend finally got his new bike. What a traitor he got a 2005 CBR 1000 RR Honda Repsol Edition.

Man! I like the CBR1000's...I checked out the Repsol replica at Honda HQ a while ago...the Hayabusa felt betrayed...

What the heck did you let him go and do? I can't believe he would put insult to injury and buy a Repsol Honda! Guess he'll have to run the twisties and see nothing but license plate and tail light from that gixxer for a while before he realizes what an awful mistake that was!! Just kidding, I'm glad to see he finally picked something up. I certainly hope he purchased the extended warranty. Heaven knows that if you put mounds of miles on a bike, you WILL eventually need it (cough cough Suzuki unlimited mileage warranty cough cough).

It's a nice looking bike, but I'd have opted for the regular paint scheme. Rossi should ride Rossi's bike, IMHO. Again, it's a great looking bike . . . can't dispute that.

I'd take a GSX-R over it any day too. The seat must be made of plastic. I'm convinced it is. There is NO padding.

Straight line is very fast, but he ain't got nothing on me in the twisties. I'll give him a few weeks to learn the bike. (I'll still beat him :twisted: )
