Can someone please tell me the reason why? I would sure appreciate any that someone can give me. Thank you my brothers. Happy holidays, and stay safe riding them roads
I think you made a huge mistake, well two of them really, and now you need to bite the bullet and get a dealer to put in a new ignition switch. Might call around to independent shops in your area too, if there are any.

Of course it will need to be towed/hauled to the shop to do that.
And you will need to show them the title too.
This likely will cost you over $100 but hopefully that is the only problem.

Anything else that YOU do is likely to only make matters worse.

BTW the reason it wont start is because the key had a chip inside that is recognised by the ecu and prevents the ignition circuit powering up if it isnt present.

Entirely possible.
And if you are right, it might be a LOT more expensive to fix because the ECU might need to be replaced too.

But back in '03 the system might not have been that sophisticated.
Some simply had a resistor that was "read" by the ignition module and it was mounted in a place where it would likely be damaged if brute force was used on the cylinder.
