Wow! Where to start? Does it crank or not? Are we talking possible fuel or ignition problem? Does your panel light up when you turn on the key? Here are a few tips to get you started in your search.
Assuming that you're new to troubleshooting anything electrical, may I suggest doing a search for "voltage drop test." It's a simple concept. Also, you will have to have a voltmeter (You might squeak by with a test light). Buy an inexpensive Harbor Freight Tools voltmeter. I will also help to have a wiring diagram of your bike.
I tend to use a combination of two trouble shooting schools of thought. 1) Start with checking voltage at the most likely items that might fail (fuses, switches, etc.) 2) Start at the battery and follow the electrical path until you find your fault.
Also, you misspelled "battery."
