From what I understand, the engine has to be cold in order to set the valves properly. That's probably why you need to leave it for awhile. I asked to speak to the guy who worked on mine last night when I picked it up. He said the valves were "tight" which is also consistent with what others had reported on their bikes. Also said I had a lot of loose spokes. Anyway, I am glad to have it ship-shape and back in my hands. They really adjusted the brakes though - I about flung myself off of it at the first light!Nor said:I might pay that due to the valve check but was totally disgusted when they told me I would have to leave the bike there all day. It's just not practical for me to arrange a ride home.
My comment was really meant as a reference to a t-shirt I saw in Pike Market in Seattle - near where R3V and golftee live... something along the lines of the difference between Bellevue and Renton is sushi and bait, although the locations are probably interchangable with a few dozen othersScourge said:As a sushi lover I can tell you the differnce, you pay for them to take those damned hooks out.
