After only 360 miles, i almost went down on my SV tonight. I was coming back from the city on the high way doing a pretty good clip, about 70. Then musta' hit something slippery when I was going into a turn, cause my back tire started coming around and I somehow got out of it...damn oil rigs. I thought I was done. Thank you God.

Glad you're OK. Got to constantly scan the road surface. Failure to do so can really add to the pucker factor! :mrgreen:

Did you just downshift when this happened???? Cause your front wheel should have slid out before the rear if it was something on the road you road thru.

Nope nexus, just goosin' it a little bit going though the curves, the roads were dry as a bone and I was leaning into the turn pretty good...but all I felt going out was the back tire.
