Meetup at Sonic, Dairy Ashford off I-10.

Let's go to Galveston and have lunch and Shrimp and Stuff!

Meetup at 9am with KSU around 9:30. We go the backroads to Hwy 36 and take that to Freeport. The cruise across the Bluewater Hwy to Galveston for lunch. We should be at lunch by 1pm at the latest.

After lunch, you are free to do whatever you please. I'm considering renting a jetski but some of you may want to continue riding around or going home.

I am looking forward to meeting some other riders from Houston. I wont be able to go to Galveston due to a couples shower...woohoo! Catch the sarcasm? I will be coming out to Sonic to meet yall though.

Around how many people do you expect to be going? I'm thinking we might meet you at the abandoned little gas station on the corner of 36 and 1462 in Damon. It's a nice little spot. We took that exact route Saturday down to Freeport, and then brought 2004 to 646 to hwy 6 then back home. That was very nice ride. :bluethum:

Ya I went on that ride with jhendrix. That abandoned gas station would be a cool place to take photos. We went in the early evening when it was nice and cool. It was an awesome ride.

Not sure exactly how many are going. Some rides 20 or more show up, other times maybe 5. As of right now, we have 3 yes's and 8 maybe's. Typically, the closer to the date, more definite answers. I am not organizing this ride, but another guy is. If ya'll are sure to be at that spot, I'll mention it to the leader, he may stop. Or, when you see 20+ bikes (hopefully) barreling past, just join in the pack!

How far is that sport from Sugar Land? I was going to meet everyone at that Sonics, but it may take me just as long to get to Damon, and will definitely be more enjoyable. Do you have an idea of how far it is from 59 and Hwy6?

Still on for tomorrow if anyone is interested. I am trying to get the KSU time to be earlier, 8:30 would be good to beat the heat, but no response from the Leader as of yet.
