I'm a C50 Boulevardier:

Great bike, I love it. I need to get a new picture though, I have sold those saddlebags and replaced the backrest pad with the large oval Mustang pad. After I mount up my new fiberglass touring bags I'll get a new pic here. 8)

Alabama representin'

I had ordered a backrest, but over the past month I took the backseat off, and now and thinking about the little 'luggage rack' bolt on in its place.

Still trying to decide on saddlebags, too. If I do go ahead and install the backrest, guess I'll have to go with the bags, too :D

Sweet lookin' C50...same color as mine! The cool large capacity Suzuki OEM bags I orders are out of stock! :( , so I'm looking for some others. Windscreen and engine bars are here! Now, to ride down and get 'em slapped on...

Hoping this will be as prolific and happening as the VOL site...does anyone know _exactly_ why VOL went down?

This is the information that Bober posted when VOL first went down:

"VOL isn't dead, but it is on hiatus. We were recently hit with a pretty severe Denial of Service attack and taken offline by our current host. I'm in the process of finding a new web host where I can colocate the server. I hope to have it back up within a couple of weeks "

I'd like to thank this forum for offering a place for us.

Also have the C50. Have added boulevard LEXAN windshield, engine case guard, low billet backrest and light bar. Still need to add saddle bags. The dealer carries a low price set where the bag unit zippers off.
A great riding and looking bike. A big CC drop from the Wing 1800 but the C50 is so much more fun to ride. Plus we look cooler on it don't we?????
Also a geat sound................

Several of us VOL'rs have been lurking in the shadows trying to find a new home. There are others on intruderalert.com and volusiariders.com. This site is good but the VOL was my "first" and still feels like home.

I am gratefull for the owners of this site for providing us a place to "land"

Great Sound?

Hi, can you explain "great sound". I have not heard one of these run and am curious to know how loud the "deep rumble" Suzuki talks about really is. Thanks. PS

I would describe it as a nice rumble that won't upset the neighbors.

Pleasing to the ear but not ground shaking.

It's nowhere near the horrendous noise coming from some aftermarket pipes.

I agree. I am pleased with the unmodified factory exhaust - it sounds meaty without being loud.

most people get soft bags, then spend rest of money on chrome items. albert
