The "how many miles do you have" thread got me thinking. Something that is bad for me to do to often! I began to wonder how many moto miles I've logged in my riding career?

A very conservative estimate adds up to around 396,000 miles in 33 years! Damn I need a life! A closer guess is around 594,000! Now that's a lot of motorcycles!

Anyone else have any idea of the miles they have logged?

Or how many laps on a track Nut?

In case you were wondering Dale I plan to be just like you when it comes to riding. I wanna ride all day every day to a different place every day!

2 wheels: about 30'000 km in 12 years

4 wheels: about 800'000 km in 26 years
I used to average 20'000 miles per year when I lived in LA, now I drive a bit less ... my 5 year-old Golf has just 147'000 km on the odo...

594,000 miles in 33 yrs, gee that only comes out to under 6 hours a week ( at an average 60mph). What do you do the other 162hrs ?.
What can I say, I was just a weekend rider for many of those years. I need to stop slacking off and ride everyday, especially at todays gas prices. I've also cut my commute miles from a high of 110 miles one way down to 17 miles one way. I've had enough of LA gridlock. No more long commutes for me.

About 12,000 in 6 seasons since 1994. I talk much bigger than my experience.

I guess I'm a quick learner. ;-)

Started in 2001 and have 110,000km or 68354 miles or a 13600+ average so far. Would most likely be higher except for that run in with the drunk  Limited track experience and that is on my Strom during a Pro Rider Course offered by the school I teach for. I have signed up for a track day this summer on my strom  I was averaging 40,000km a year in my cage and now put most of that on the bike
