I don't know what kinda bike or expierence you have but if you want to clean the carbs youself get a haynes or clymers manual they have alot of good information and are easy to follow. I just recently bought a 96 katana that ran like crap. I cleaned the carbs and now it screams. I am a newbie when it comes to working on bikes but it wasn't that hard to do, just time consuming and now I know alot more about how the bike works. Just one thing, after you remove the carbs, the only thing you should do is remove and clean the float bowl and the jets. I was told there is no reason to completely disassemble the carbs.
