What in the world is a friggin boulevard, and I don't want to hear "its like a street". Where is my awaited 2005 Volusia not the 800 but the next one up I think it is a 1200. I was waiting I had the money ready and everything. What is the equivalent or has Suzuki sold us out? Say it aint so, say it aint so????!!!!!
First of all a Volusia has/had an 804 cc engine, this is the only engine a Volusia came with. It's still the only engine the Volusia comes with but it is now known as a Boulevard ( all Suzuki cruisers are now Boulevards, they used to be called Intruders ). The Volusia and it's larger sibling the ex Intruder LC 1500 are now "C" class Boulevards, the 800 cc engine is close to 50 cubic inches ence the C50 and 1500 cc's is close to 90 cubic inches so C90.
There has never been any talk of an intermediate 1,100 to 1,200 cc bike. Yamaha V-Star 1,100 has that category all locked up, it's why Honda stopped producing a 1,100 Shadow and is now pushing the VTX 1,300.
The new Boulevard C50 ( ex Volusia ) now comes with F.I and floorboards as standard. The best bike in it's class is now even better.
