I'm currently below 160 lbs for the first time in 2-3 years.

I feel great. The bike seems to like it as well. You got any idea how much ca$h 'Zuki spends trying to lose 15 pounds of weight on one of their bikes? A LOT!!

I lost the weight by simply eating less and walking on a treadmill for 15-30 minutes a night. That coupled with the light workouts (with weights) that I've been doing has been eating up more calories than I have been consuming, so the result is weight loss.

I included that last part because I seem to be surrounded by people that think calories don't matter . . . they say it's the amount of salt/fat/carbs that you eat that makes the difference. Uh . . . they're all still struggling to lose weight while they inform me of the salt/fat/carb content of my 400 calorie lunch. I always smile and say, "Yeah, this is probably going to kill me."

You bring up a good point though. Racers spend the big bux to drop weight from the bike. It makes me wonderwhat kind of advantage this short 115 lb person I call me has on a big bike that can't tell if I'm on it or not.

Be carefull what you wish for, I used to be like you. I could just stuff food away like there was no tomorrow and never get over 150lbs ( I'm 6'2") then for some reason it just started piling on and now I'm 240lbs yet eating probably the least amount of food I ever have in my life.

I second that I'm also 6'2" and weighed 155 most of my life. My weight went way up for a while, soring past 200+. Now I'm down to 198 and holding. Luckily it's evenly distributed! Still need to work out more and get in better shape.

No cares right here. Haven't really worked out since Nov, I always fall off during the holidays-no time eh, but I'm still sittin pretty at 170lbs sortin my 32" waist. I need to get back in there soon and start liftin again. Swimsuit weather is coming up and no one wants to be a fat guy in the pool with the hairy back. :D

I have such an oddball weight. I weigh about 185 and am 5'8". I'm not fat at all and not jacked with muscles. I just get confused because my girlfriends magazine says my prime weight is about 140lbs. I would be a Somalian if I were that small! It's a mystery to me why I weigh so much but don't show it at all......

heres a bad pic of me with my little black pug on my stomach "Tank"

i know it, but my dad is 6' and never weight over 16 till he was in his 50's and retired. then he put on a little bit of a gut, and got up to 180 or so.

my grandfather (moms side) was 6-2 and probably no more than 180 or so. we are just a thing family.

Know what ya mean A J. I get to stop working out for a couple of weeks since I'm getting surgery on Thurs, but will be getting right back into it afterwards. Hoping to hit about 225 before I'm happy.

6'2", 195lbs.

Think its something along the lines of every 10lbs dropped "gives" you an extra 1hp in real world application.

I've always heard 8lbs.

I usually weigh inbetween 150-160 lbs. But I'm only 5'6" and 6-8% body fat.

Check your body fat %, not your actual weight.

This will mean a lot more because you can tell how many lbs of fat you are carrying around.

BTW I'm gettin ready for bike week so I'm at about 150 lbs and 8% right now  I hope to get down to about 6% (The Mrs. loves the abs!!!)

8 or 10, either way it is measurable on a track. I'm not sure of the exact amount or science behind it. BF is a good way to tell whats going on with you though. Don't think I have ever been over 10%, but have no real idea of where I am now.
