i was rummaging online and ran into this 03 gxsr 750, only 800 miles on the thing and selling for 3.5k which i thought was too good to be true , so i emailed the guy with the usual question and found out hes not from here, the guy live in UK and his reason for selling the bike was because it cost too much to register the bike in UK, I never done these things before anyone out there with knowledge or idea if i could trust this too good to be true deal? Also the way he wanted to transfer the money is through Western Union under any name i like just so he could check that the wired transfered money is there, and will shipp the bike and CHARGE NO SHIPPING from me, and another thing my offer to him was 3000 and without a doubt he accepted my offer could i really trust this? help me please.

Use the Search function to look for a thread with the title "eBay Scam" ...

Bottom line - never, I repeat, NEVER!!! send money for a motor vehicle that you have not seen or test driven, and where you don't know where the seller is located. If you do, you are just asking to be cheated.

Nearly new bike, $3500, what he ^ said. You have to ask yourself what one thing allows you to trust the seller.

You don't have anything.

If you're just wanting to toss three grand down the tubes, you could always just give it to me. Either way, your gonna be out $3k and still have no wheels.

I've got a dozen Hayabusa's low mileage bikes that I need to get rid of to make room for other stuff in my Italian villa garage.

Just send me $2000 us and I'll ship one to you, don't worry we'll use an escrow service that my uncle has !

A colleague of mine is flying over to Boston today ... can he stop by and pick it up? I'll wire you the $500 as soon as he says it's okay

Ask him his location, then tell him you have a cousin or other relative somewhere in the U.K., and are sending him to have a look at it. His reaction should tell you whether it's a bogus deal or not.
