Hi guys,I cant find an answer to this on any forum and hope someone might have an idea. Bike is a sportster 1200c bobber. Year is 2001 . It sat 2 weeks and started fine before. I Just got back from a service a few weeks before that. Turn key, lights are bright, horn works, odometer and turning signals all work.Set to run, hit start and nothing. No sound, no click, lights stay bright and nothing changes. Trickle charger reads 100% battery. Is it a bad kill switch or start button.Help me out guys I need to get riding.Jimmy

Also could be a bad solenoid or just loose battery cables.

Without a meter to chase the voltages, it's pretty much a shot in the dark.

It's even more of a guess for people who aren't there; that's why you can't get an answer on a forum.

Nice Sporty, I'd pull the cables from the battery and clean them real well along with the battery terminals, baking soda & water paste on everything for 10-15 minutes and flush with fresh water then a wire brush till shiny.
Might be a good idea to do the ends at the starter and ground as well.
9 times out of 10 this will do the trick,if it doesn't you may have a solenoid problem.
