Well I came out from eating with the wife, and there it lay on the right side.............f'n bastards can't even come fess up to it & find the owner.

Huge scratch and a bunch of minor scratches on the fairing.........

Bar end, brake lever, and edge of muffler scratched............

Directional "popped-off" of fairing...............

It's almost winter and I will give it up to the shop to fix the fairing...........or replace it, but can I fix the directional myself for now?

Now I must go cry..................

I feel your pain.

My '04 Hayabusa had 272 kms on it when some stupid woman driving a car way too big for her (she couldn't see over the steering wheel, never mind out the rear window) backed into it in the parking lot at work.

Her rear bumper hit my rear tire (it was on the sidestand) and pushed it forward enough to fold the stand and drop it on the left side.

She did $3000 USD in damages to my bike - at least she paid for the repairs.

Too bad you couldn't find the *****(s) that knocked your's over.

Hardware: Get a dremel and take it to your sidestand right where the stand meets the stopper to let it come forward just a bit more. It doesn't take much. Busa's have a tendancy to fall anyhow when on the sidestand since it makes them sit so verticle. Hopefully this will keep it from falling again. Glad she paid for her mistake though.
