I know this sounds like I am a cheap *ss, but I was just wondering if they make a rideing knee pad that you can just slip on under you pants/jeans. I only have one pair of Icon rideing jeans, but I wear them all of the time! I just don't want to buy a bunch rideing pants. I don't race! I don't do stunts! I did in the past and it bit me in the butt (traffic tickets, broke bones). I would feel a little safer, than to go with just regular jeans.

Get some overpants then. Full length leg zippers, easy on and off. Hip and knee armor. Wear whatever you want under them, even dress clothes.

Look in the Motocross sections of your local bike store. You can find 2-6 different types at Cycle Gear if you have one near by you.

Oh ya, I forgot that pants ten times the right size are in style. You could get that stuff to fitunder them. Sure seems easier to just use riding overpants.
