Ok so I got the Gixxer 750. First on tail section, then the modified license plate, iridim turn signals, chrome frame sliders, swing arm sliders (I'm just going to go and get a crash cage and chrome it now), grips, carbon fiber gas take..etc..etc. Sure glad I'm not married. So still riding. As it gets colder..what? Put it away..Naw..might as well get the chrome wheels and swing arm right?

Thanks. Here's my plans. First chrome the wheels and swing arm. I want to keep the frame black. Then I want to take the bike to a paint shop and get it in the theme of my Arai Okata blue dragon helmet. Maybe later only as a last resort put a turbo charge on it.

Damn, turbos are expensive, I wish I had that kind of money. Have you considered a chrome windscreen?

turbo's are great right up until you find a nice twisty road and lean some :twisted: . However I would love to have one.
Dennis over at www.suzukihayabusa.org may have something that will work with a 750. He was the designer for the "ghetto turbo" for the busa.

Hey, by the time you get turbo you'll have paid for a 'Busa w/chrome wheels :roll: !
Ok so I got the Turbo and the dealer is putting it on. I'm not married anymore so..heck God even says I can spend my money the way I want. Honestly you can't even see the turbo with the fairings. Over 3,000 bucks and...well it runs nice..and..I still haven't put it away.
I'm the first of anyone I know to put a turbo on a Gixxer 750 2004. The power...incredible...but honestly...the stock bike really has all anyone could ever need. Overall I would say don't waste your money..put it in a home or something more useful. Unless you are older and whatever like me.
Btw I have a personal test. By the dealer I have a section of track..I put it in first...no wheelie clutch. at 3K I just open the throttle. Stock..about 6.5K the front wheel came up and looked like a good wheelie. With the K&N airfilter and Yoshi Exhaust..and the computer programed perfect..I would say about 6.25. The turbo..I hit 6k and all heck breaks loose.
What I am saying in reality. Braggin rights. Actuality..I ride more below 6K now. But for the older riders. They call me an old fart, for being on a Gixxer? It's worth every penny and I just pass by them. To all the senior citizens over 40. You really gotta get one of these!
