Ok my last thread was hijacked by something which was edited before I saw it. I don't care I just want my question Answered.

What the heck is that little brillo pad thing next to the air filter?

do you have a titanium exhaust on your bike..they use a kind of brillow pad to make the outside of the pipe shine..yet still I've had mine up and haven't seen the brillo pad..other than maybe..maybe something dealing with a rattle.

Maybe it's just a rattle reducer. If it ain't hurting nothin' I don't see anything wrong with leaving it where it is.
