im thinking about getting these mirrors for my M50...what do you think? they are Arlen Ness and run $45 for each side....anyone know better pricing? have similar mirrors they know of? etc?

i'll probably look for them at Daytona if they have good pricing...if not then i will probably order when i get back.

i also want to do green LED's....theres already another LED thread though

In an accident you could impale yourself on a mirror, but you'd look really cool while bleading out all over the pavement!!!! :)

Not for me. Just can't picture them on my Marauder at all. I'm going to change out the stock round mirrors, but I'm just going to the '04 stockers which are rectangular.

I like 'em. A lot.

I think they're cool beans, for real. If I had a cruiser and wanted to give it a different look, those mirrors would be my starting place.

Screw impalement, you could get hit by a truck walking to your bike in the parking lot. Post a pic if you get 'em.

They look pretty cool...probably not very functional since you won't be able to see much in them, but...
Show me a mirror you can see much out of!I usually have a lovely view of my shoulders unless I tuck right in! ;-)

This thread made me realise that the mirrors on my 97 Marauder arn't stock, they're a bit bigger and retangular. Actually not so bad for riding in traffic. Hey Pinhy with a mirror that wide you'll need to work on your low-hand cruiser guy wave to the other bikers. ;)

When I read this rather quickly I swear I thought you ended it with ".....Post a pic if you get hit"

I thought that was funny. :D

haha...

thanks all....everyone has the same thoughts i am having..."i really like them, but is it too much bling?" i saw a used bike for sale at the motorsports here and it was a 03 something, cant remember...had aftermarket pipes and some chrome...had these mirrors...i like it. as for seeing, i use mirrors a little, but head check most of the time anyway.

there is another pair not so radical in J&P i think...little bigger (functional) so might compare how they would look.

and as for accident? i think i might be more worried about all the other things that happened to me in the accident. the difference in this mirror in the gut as to a less sharp one...probably not so much...

will keep you guys posted after daytona next weekend. like i said, i want to see if people are selling things cheaper there, especially that last weekend when they want to get rid of stuff

Yeah I know the dated Shirt, hats and Do-Rags go 30-50% off that last weekend. I picked my shirts that last sunday of Biketoberfest for cheap. You only have to deal with limited selection so shop real early Sunday morning for the best choices.

+1 My mirrors are pretty much useless unless i lean to the other side to see in the mirrow, which is pointless when i head chek anyway?
