Hello- I'm new to all this. I'm working on a 1976 TS 185 for a friend of mine. Bike hasn't been ridden in 18 years. Looking for carb/petcock/fork and brake rebuild kits and probably more as we progress. Also engine gasket sets. The bike is in real good shape cosmetically and friend wants to put back on road. Any help would be appreciated. I live on Cape Cod in Massachusetts.

I wouldn't touch that project with a ten-foot pole. That being said, start here for the gasket/caliper/fork rebuild stuff:

You might have to hunt high and low for some of those parts. You can also try :

for OEM parts. I can almost guarantee most of the parts for that bike have been discontinued long ago. It will take time and patience to complete this project.

You may need to hand craft the gaskets you need, like in the ol days! As far as parts, used that is, you may try something like this.

I've got an old 1971 TS 120 that luckily is still intact. The old Suzuki parts are really hard to find, especially for odd little bikes like these. Try to cross reference some of the parts and you may be able to get them from other models.

Check out your local area for some backyard bike mechanics. They tend to stock up on a lot of the old stuff they are interested in. I have a friend that wrenches at home and makes a living at it. He prefers Hondas. He could probably build a dozen CB 750's just from the stuff he has packed away over the years.

Good Luck!
