I have a snowblower that old. It needed its carb cleaned.

My bike, an '84 poorly maintained before I got it, does about the same thing. When cold like this morning, I have to put the choke on full. It starts for about 5 seconds and then slowly slows down and dies. Have do this a few times, then I must turn off the choke, turn the Idle screw to the highest and then it starts just fine. I HAVE to let warm up a good 5-10 minutes otherwise I stall at the first stop signs when pulling the clutch in.badkitty said:Is this due to colder weather? It was about 85degrees 2 days ago then we got clouds and now its 60.
