just wanted to know how often I should lube my chain..I ride (03 GSXR 600) anywhere between 100 to 200 miles a week. I've been lubing it like every two weeks but I wanna know if that's too much or too little. Thanks.

I do not know of an official schedule or time span to do it but, when I had my chain driven GS yrs ago, I would wait till about Saturday night or so after riding about 200 miles that week. I would wait till I came in from a good Saturday ride and just lubed it up real good before I put it away.

 I would say once a week would be ok.

DONT KNOW IF THIS HELPS OUT BUT ICLEAN AND LUBE MY CHAIN ABOUT ONCE A WEEK. SUZUKI MAKE A VERY GOOD CHAIN CLEANER. ONCE YOUR BIKE IS ON THE CENTRE STAND (OR PADDOCK STAND) SPIN THE REAR WHEEL AND SPRAY THE CHAIN. AFTER ONE REVOLUTION OF THE WHEEL CLEAN THE CHAIN OFF WITH AN OLD RAG IN THE SAME WAY.THE CHAIN IS NOW CLEAN TO ALLOW NEW LUBE TO BE SPRAYED. I HAVE USED BEL RAY AND ROCK OIL BUT THE BEST I HAVE USED IS CASTROL CHAIN WAX. DONT KNOW IF ITS AVAILABLE IN THE STATES BUT IF IT IS GIVE IT A TRY. IF YOU DO THIS AT NIGHT WHEN YOU FINISHED RIRING FOR THE DAY, IT GOES OFF OVERNIGHT AND DOESN'T COME OFF ALL OVER THE REAR WHEEL.
