I don't want to go to hard bags.

I have a large tankbag that isn't very comfortable on my 'Busa (and the rear mounting strap actually broke when I was shoving the bike off the centre stand..).

So, can anyone recommend a tail bag that mounts securely and has reasonable capacity? I need to fit two martial arts gi's in there at once, plus a change of clothes.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Well, you probably already thought of it but how about a soft backpack? That way you can carry it (and the clothing) in with you and when you don't need the storage it can be left at home.

I use one nearly every day now and I'm getting sick of it. Heavyweight gi's are well...heavy. After a couple of hours of training they're soaking wet and even heavier. I was looking to transfer some of that weight to the passenger area and off my shoulders & back.

i do things ...first i have a backpack with large capacity.Second i have my bungee net to hold down the rest to rear seat.

I have been in martial arts for about 8years.I have My heavyweight and medium plus sparring gear.It all fits nicely.Alittle more trouble, kind of , than its worth.If you have a car or something probably better to use it for going there.

I saw the Corbin hard bags. Not really my style although they do look functional.

I was hoping to find something more along the lines of a self contained duffel bag that can quickly be mounted/removed so all my gear can go in one piece of luggage as opposed to some in a backpack, some in a tank bag and some bungee'd to the rear.

Has anyone used this item?

I'm not sure how this particular piece secures to the bike. If anyone has tried it, I'd appreciate any feedback.
