Newbie here,
Has anyone attempted to install a headlight and cover off of a M90 or M109R on their M50? Just curious.... I like the look.

the 2010+ m50s in the rest of the world are also styled that way. might look into the parts there. maybe one of the ca/eu folks can get their hands on the parts diagram.

shouldnt be all that difficult. it just a headlight.

I'm afried I'm in the same boat. Personally I think that thing is hidious.... But if you want it you can probably get it. Maybe the Euro ebay site? Again the Euro guys have them in dealerships currently but at a cost. Otherwise there are many cowled headlight options out there. I'm quite partial to the Triumph Thunderbird headlight cowl set up. Had thought about a Ducati '60s Cafe Racer style cowl except the handlebar reliefs wouldn't match up.

the 2011 is not the same bike as the older M's though, My bike would look totally different with that thing on it..... I wonder if the reflector has a better beam then the 07's???

I knew I would hear that from someone eventually. I like the styling of the M50 but I like the headlight on the M109R.

maby the 09's will have a shot at getting k&n filters now that they kept the shield for the filter cover. i always thought that they were the basterd child of all the years.

I think Suzuki is struggling with the non-bagger cruiser idea. The 109s are selling hot. The C modles sell just fine. But it's just progress. Something good, something forgotten, something new and redesigned. Seems like Yamaha is on top of thier game with the Stryker and Raider though.

If money wasn't an issue I would be riding a 2011 M109. Black w/orange stripe. It's a real muscle/sport cruiser. It fly's and I like the look. Nicer than a V-Rod, V-Max or anything else available in that category. I know a guy who raced a Star Warrior on one and it wasn't even close! But, different strokes for different folks!

Although, It would have been nice to not have all that stupid chrome... If I wanted a chromed out bike I would've been more apt to buy the c50.

Here's as close as I could come to a V Rod or Vmax on a previous attempt. It might give you an idea about what it would look like with a less-traditional light. People either love it or hate it - I love it but my wife hates it lol!
