I feel so sorry for people that don't understand the Mac. Maybe someday they too will be enlightened.

Eh, Just so you know Mr Hippo, I'm a Mac enthusiast.

I can delete YOUR account using my Mac, can you do that on YOUR PC? (Oh sure you're gonna tell me you need Admin priviledges to do that ... but you're just jealous of the Mac's capability, [continues into a rambling on his own] )

And let's face it, some of us don't need more than one mouse button. Those PC types are just overcompensating for something.

For the record, Mac's OS 10 operating system is the most stable OS on the market. Crashes are rare. I know, I work on it several hours everyday. Plus, the Mac OS isn't a shell program like Windows, it is an actual operating system.

Go with the original, not the cheap mass-marketed knockoff.

We have Macs and PCs at work. The PCs never crash - in fact if a Windows program locks up, you can still shut that program down individually without affecting the whole system.

If our Photoshop freezes up on the Mac, we have to shut down the whole computer. And yes, it's true, the power button freezes up as well, so we have to unplug the friggin' thing.

I've worked with Macs and PCs in parallel for many years. It used to be that Macs were better computers, but not anymore. Windows XP is a very stable system, even though it has had its own share of problems.

Not to mention that you can't really find any action games for Macs. You can't play Delta Force, Generals, Doom etc. on Macs. A computer on which you can't play games IS NOT A REAL COMPUTER!

Isn't MAC OS 10 a UNIX derivitive with a graphical front end?

Why then do I have to pay for expensive Apple hardware when I can put Linux on a (cheap) intel machine, and get the same kind of stability and performance? With KDE or GNOME, plus a mountain of free software, why pay more?

(inspiron, using a Windows XP laptop ... but with a SuSE Linux Server at home!)

For 20 yeaars I've had to deal with this issue. Some of us prefer cruisers, some sport bikes. Same in the computer field. Macs are better for certain tasks and PCs are better for others. Bottom line, get what you want. Get what you need. Enjoy it while you've got it.

If it doesn't crash on you first. Sorry but you left that one wide open. Well a Xbox is still technically a computer. It has a hard drive, plays DVD's, Games (obviously), record and play music, and is online. Also supports voice commands and chat.

I have to agree here. I'm a PC player all the way...and I ride a cruiser. I have no use for a MAC or a Sportbike. Both look nice, but just don't float my boat.

Since getting the G5 Mac at work in August 2003, I have had three crashes. That's working eight to ten hours a day, five to six days a week. Conversely, my G4 iMac at home has never... NEVER... crashed in three years!

I'm not saying that you're wrong about Macs crashing. It just hasn't been my experience that they are unreliable in any way.

Proudly using Macs for 18 years, and driving my Volusia for nearly 24 hours now.

Geez guys relax. It's a funny video, if you didn't like it, fine. I don't personally have anything against Macs. I thought some people would enjoy it like I did. Some did, others got all butt hurt about it. It's just a video, not an attack. 8)

I have a Mac, never had a virus before never had any problems. Why do you guys hate them so much. :?:
C'mon we don't hate them! We're just baffled by people who choose to use them.

Macs don't have viruses not because they're "such great computers". They don't have viruses because they are so out of the mainstream, that hackers and criminals don't even bother targeting Macs anymore. Macs are 3-4% of the world computers. That means they are insignificant.
