What are your ideas on a good maintence schedule. My bikes a litte older, its a 1993 GSXR750, should it matter? I hear you should do oil every 3-5k and the filter every other change. What about spark plugs? I looked them up online and they want almost 9 bucks a plug?! How often should i change them?

Refer to the owners manual, but 7500 miles or every year on the plugs.

walmart has plugs around $2.00. you can get cycle filters and oil at auto zones for under $15.00 combined. leaving a dirty filter installed during an oil change doesn't make sence to me (3,000mi.). plugs every 7,500mi. fork oil every 10,000mi. chain wax will keep chain clean and lubed.
