Anyone know of any rider courses for the "have not ridden in 10yrs crowd" that occur during the week? I work weekends and only have 2 of those off per year. One is already scheduled for my nephews graduation, and it will be probably 4-5 months before another opportunity for vacation arives. Anything in NC preferably, but could handle SC, TN, or VA as well.

I know that there were classes offered in my area (MN) that happened tues/wed/thurs nights...I would just do a search on Motorcycle Safety Course for NC and they should have links to the available places and times, etc.

If you haven't already, get the book Proficient Motorcycling. It would not be a substitute for the MSF course, but it might keep you out of the bar ditch while you wait for the course.

Thanks guys. No joy on the midweek course search. At least not in NC, SC, or VA. I have seen a number of people talking about Proficient Motorcycling on this site and I reckon I may need to check it out, and just keep my rides short and sweet, once a bike is actually in my driveway that is.

Thanks again for the replies.

I took the ERC during the week. It would be ideal for a returning rider.
