I mix the juice of a moose with some Canadian Rye Whisky and flavor it with maple sirup. Now that's a man's drink. LOL

Since my wife is from Upstate NY, she told me the Canucks look at you funny if you ask for a LaBatts Blue. She said it's called Blue. Y'know like we call Bud instead of Budweiser.Uncle Bob said:Good old Labatt and or Molson, the two biggest brewers turning out many types of beer each.
Actually although everybody here calls it beer it's actually ale, stronger with more body than you're used to in the states, average alcool content of 5.5% I believe. Most american brands are brewd up here under licence by the canadian brewers, I think they make it a little stronger than what you guys have.
I'm not a beer drinker ( Gasp!) but when i'm in the states I'll have a Bud since it's not as meaty as what we get here.

Which one?? There's more than one Lone Star. I live in Gatineau but work in Ottawa.trappercase said:Ever been to the Lone Star in Ottawa? It was started by Val Belcher (x-CFLer) in the '80's. I run the Moncton franchise.
Jeez, I've never heard of Moose Milk.red7eb said:No joke! That's what it's called. It's kind of like eggnog, but completely different tastesaleemas said:Moose milk????? You are pulling my leg, right??

REALLY? Wow.. I'm not making it up. Honest! I've known her family half of my life (even the ones still living in Quebec), and they've always said it was a Canadian "Yuletide" drink. Has alcohol in it, if that gives you any clues. :?Louis said:Jeez, I've never heard of Moose Milk.![]()
Woohoo! I understood that!trappercase said:Je suis bilingue. Je parle francais un peu. Nouveau Brunswick est le seul province officialement bilingue. La ville de Moncton est 60% anglais et 40% francais. C'est tout pour moi aujourdui, bonsoir tout le monde.
Well, if I ever go to Moncton, I'll certainly try to make a point and claim my fajita.trappercase said:come to moncton and i'll buy you a fajita.Louis said:Which one?? There's more than one Lone Star. I live in Gatineau but work in Ottawa.
Can you get me discounts?
No, ALL of our drinks have alcohol in them. How else do you think we prevent our blood from freezing? :wink:red7eb said:Has alcohol in it, if that gives you any clues. :?
