Good Afternoon,

I am looking to purchase a 4/1 exhaust for my ’04 Busa. I am trying to choose between the Akrapovic and Yosh full systems. I have been told by one person that if I go with the Akrapovic, I will not need a power commander. But if I go with the Yosh system, I will need a power commander. One other person told me that either way I go, I will need the power commander.

Can anyone clarify on this, and also tell me which exhaust system is the better to go with. Since the Akrapovic system cost more than the Yosh system, will I really get $400 more of performance and quality from the Akrapovic system?

Why don't you contact a dyno tuner? Street talk is BS. Find someone who works with the bikes in the tuning field. Preferably w/a Factory Pro EC997a Dyno.

Get the Yosh. The difference in power is going to be 3-4 horsepower. I work at a shop with a dyno. I do these all the time.
