P.S. im only wokring on performance cuz i use to race snomobiles, and now im trying motorcycles so im looking for performance tweaks as well, but if u have some good looking ideas for the cosmetics let me know thanx

I got my cosmetic mods recently. You don't have to choose mine, but I will tell you how I found them. In this forum and at Gixxer.com people post thier mod's to thier signature file. In the chat world we call it cyber lurking, because you draw information without actually posting. I listened to thier mod stories, and checked out thier parts and compared them with other peoples parts. You do that and you can send an email through the board to thier inbox to ask them specifics (if they like it and why). Also you can post to the board. That's my best guess.

I posted some of mine on here recently.

Buy all of the protective gear BEFORE worrying about your bike performance mods. Once you have a good set of leathers, helmet, boots and gloves then I recommend the following:

1. Get some GOOD tires.

2. Get your suspension sorted out FIRST. Find a good suspension tuner in your area and have him set the bike up for your weight, riding style etc.

3. Get some frame sliders, if there aren't already some installed.

4. Buy a few spares (clutch/brake levers, mirrors, pegs, signals). The bike will be dropped at some point. Hopefully it won't be crashed.

5. Now worry about cosmetics, and performance.

after you are all safetied up and ready to go, then you should go to performance parts. i recommend a turbo, new tires, d&d exhaust, and a new visor, maybe one with artwork on it.

well the different metals in vovled create less weight. a Carbon fiber one would be the lightest prolly. A slip-on literally slips onto your stock exhuast, after you remove th stock can. You can go with a full set, which is the headers and all pipe work nessacary. Soad suggested a turbo, But If your gonna race then they prolly don't allow turbos. Plus i haven't seen any kits for turbos on the gixxer 750. Anyway, get some good frame sliders, They work like you wouldn't beleive, I've haerd of guys putting wax on the sliders, so it will slider instead of flip ( )

not definatly going to race, just going to get used to a bike over a snomobile...the racing end of it is totally diffrent on snow! so, what about performance and sound? what exhaust's would u recomend for awsome sound??? and then some hefty performance to back it up??
DOES ANYBODY KNOW ABOUT JETTING OR GEARING????

what kind of exhaust should i be looking for? ive seen lots kinda confusing...whats all the difference between titanium, carbon fiber, aluminum, and full systems and just slip-ons???
slip-ons do nothing more than change the noise your ride makes. Full system exhausts will let you drop weight over OEM and you will make more power with a re-map (FI) or re-jet (carb). As far as titanium, carbon, and alum go....usually they are talking about the sleeve on the muffler. Its all up to you on how you want it to look. Try to find some dyno sheets of different exhaust systems and that should tell you some of what you are wanting to know. I'm running a yoshimura RS-3 right now and looking to get rid of it in favor of the Brock Gen 3. Different people will tell you different things, thats why there are so many choices

Wouldn't mind selling it to you aside from the fact that mine is for a 'busa. Not gonna fit up quite right to a 750 engine, sorry. I just have a yosh RS-3 race on right now, but there are others that weigh a bit less and make a lil' more hp so will be trading up soon.
