i know you can add as much accessories to help your engine out, but can you modify the actual engine block itself, like bore it out, or change the valves etc. what else it there?

Yeah, why would you want to? Just buy a bigger sport bike and be done with it.

Smallness of the engine? You think a 750 or 1000cc bike is too small??

If you really have the need, then yes you can. It is an enginge and will respond like most other engines. You can modify it if you know what you are doing and take proper care of it afterwards. Usually it is easier to just get a different bike unless you are wanting to build a sleeper just to toy with others on.

i asked because you could go to some street races and get some money by racing a lightly modified 750 and beating it with a heavily modified 600. make some easy money maybe. not to say I would ever do that.....

You do't really need more power, just different gearing. A stock ZX-10R with new gears ran a 9.49 EASY. so you can mod, say a Gixxer 600?, by getting new closer ratios, and change the rear spocket by two or three. Now with this and a new map and exhuat, I'm sure you could get about a 10 outta it. beat the hell outta most the stuff on the street.

//With cutting edge sportbikes it's hard to improve on stock....
