I am looking into an alarm for my bike. What are some sites I can research an alarm, and which alarms are the better ones out there? Thanx

Well for motorcycles i believe there is no alarm company that is better then the other because motorcycle alarms are not a hot item in the aftermarket world. Some of my friends have a combo of alarm system and motion sensor installed on there bike maybe you should try that combo, I just went with the chatterbox alarm system because it was inexpensive. Heres the link to where i purchased it. Good Luck :D

How about this? http://www.cyclestuffusa.com/noname25.html
I have one on my bike. Got it from Cycle Gear. Works good but don't rely on it alone. Keep your bike out of sight out of mind, covered and securely locked.

Nothing is ever enough. A club member got up for his usual weekend ride to find some one had stolen his entire front end from his Beemer! Forks wheel everything. It was parked and secured in a secured parking lot below his apartment. Couldn't steal it all, so they took what they needed. Being that it was on the center stand made it even easier for the thief. Some people really suck!

Has anybody tried the Xena Brake Lock w/ Alarm? It seems like it might be a good way to go.

A police officer one told me to be honest there is really nothing you can do to prevent a thieft from taking a car or a motorcycle. Alarms, Chain locks etc... just really add a level of time if a thieft really wants your ride he or she will find a way. So lets continue to make there job alot harder. :D I only say this because my uncle was a victim of bike theft, he had just got back from a ride and went inside to take a shower. To his surprise when he came back out for a ride his bike was gone, a nieghbor told him he saw 3 men back a pick up truck up to the bike picked her right up and placed it into the back of the truck and pulled off. It was a sad day he had a really nice Honda CBR with custom whield shield that illuminated neon green at night it was sweet.
