Does anyone know what of the two wires that connects to the front brake light switch goes where the two colors of the wires are one is white the other is oran so which color goes closer to the handlebars

Should not make any difference.
The switch just shorts the two wires together.......in every bike I've ever seen.
And that is a LOT.

WHS^ If you twist the wires together it deletes the switch.

Wait......he was talking about the brake switch.......and I thought that it was normally OPEN.
So that twisting the wires together would cause the brake light to be ON all the time ????

Well yes just another way of making sure that is the case....some brake switches are grounded and have only one wire and the plunger inside completes the circuit but since he has two wires I would assume this is not the case.
