That's a fantastic looking bike. I just hope the tires aren't as shiny as they look.

Nice bike Pug. have you looked into having some foam removed from the seat? You are way up on your toes. Get that fixed and you'll feel a lot more stable and in control.

How would you do that?

Also I can't remember if I am completly flat footed on the other side or not. I think I remember that I was and that might be why I'm so "far" up.

Edit: After looking at the pic again, I'm almost 100% sure I was. But I have to be off the bike to back it up.

If the seat is as plush and padded as a gixxer seat, you have plenty of material to work with. An auto upholstery shop can take your seat cover off and shave down the foam padding some. Then reinstall the cover and you should get more of your foot on the ground. You may have less padding, but compared to many stock motorcycle seats, a Suzuki seat is like a Lazy Boy recliner. Ever sit on a Ducati seat? Or some Hondas too.

If you are worried , get a seat on Ebay and have it reworked. I'd try this before lowering your suspension.

Yeah they are, I'm betting he's got less then 50miles on the bike since he got it. Very slick looking tires. I'm just about to try to scuff the last shinny edge of my new Z6s today on the Florida Dragon. Just hope I don't get another set of nails in them this time.

Damn you must have the Fred Flintstone body build then. Your pants inseems must be like 30" or 31" right. Hell if they can get SG1 on a bike nearly flat footed then you should be able too. Forget the seat get the whole bike lowered front and rear. I work with a gal who's 5'4" and she fits better on a GSXR600 then you do that on.

Fred Flintstone...You saying I'm fat?

You're right on the inseam. A friend of mine is about an inch shorter but has 2 inch longer legs.

And try a tad bit less than 10 miles on it ;)

I haven't been able to lately because of work and weather some (snow).

Also since I'm still getting used to it I perfer to ride in the day time and it gets dark around 5:30 and I get home then or after that.
