Can anyone tell me what to do about getting vibrations in my handlebars at around 5-6k rpms and vibrations in my footpegs also at 7-8k rpms? This happens not only when in gear but also when just revving the engine. I should note that this started happening after tightening up my chain, but I did even both sides out using the marks, and I also loosened it up after I noticed the vibrations. I have a 2000 GSXR 600. Any help would be much appreciated.

gixxers are known for vibration, just make sure the drive chain isn't too tight. Did you just get the bike? when did you notice the vibration? only after you tightened the chain? I know that you stated this only started after you tightened the chain, just wondering if maybe it's always been there and you were just unsure on what you were doing and now you might be paying more attention to the feel of the bike.

This just in....my bike started making a clunk noise. It happens after I stop and then go again. The clunk noise comes from the left side of the bike near my left foot, near the clutch. Is it safe to be riding with all these problems I'm having lately. Should I take it to the bike shop and possibly get ripped off? I recently ordered the manual for my bike online and I'm still waiting for it to come in, but is it something I should try to fix myself or what? Need Mad Help Please
