I crashed my 04 gixxer because I lost my temper and lost control. I was taking off and gave the bike a little to much gas and hit a wet spot in the parkin lot. Went totally side ways and scarped up one fairing and fucked my leg up. Dont be stupid like I was and ride pissed off.

I agree with not riding mad. If I'm angry, tired, or sick the bike stays in the garage.

As for the parts you need:

For new parts cheaper than the dealer, try www.ronayers.com I would also watch Ebay. Salvage yards may be able to help too... I put out a parts request at www.uneedapart.com and found a salvage yard with the part I needed. With a 2004 though, parts off wrecked bikes may be hard to find.

Yup, riding requires FULL CONCENTRATION. There are many ways to get destracted. Any of them can kill you.

If you don't mind doing some paint, there is a new ad on the Tulsa website. www.tulsasportbikeriders.com in the classifieds. I think he may have laid his down too. He has the full plastics for sale, might be able to get them cheap if you hurry.
