Kawi EX500, or Suzuki GS500. Both are good beginner bikes. Light and still pretty quick. If you must get a 600, the Bandit and Kat are a bit better for a starter.
Lois, I agree with you. I just stated that they are better than a gixxer for a beginner. Note I listed the 500's first.Louis said:The Bandit generates 77HP and the Katana 80HP. Still a lot for a beginner. Compared to those, the Kawasaki EX500 has 60HP and the GS500, 51 HP.pitbull76 said:Kawi EX500, or Suzuki GS500. Both are good beginner bikes. Light and still pretty quick. You can checkout www.bikez.com, which is where I got those figures
It's not that it's hard, it's just that most people have at least a minor mishap while learning. I would try to get an older bike to start with so it doesn't matter so much if you were to scratch the fairing. Also, in a year or two when you're ready to get a bigger/faster/different bike, you won't loose so much money.StmnBmN said:thanks a bunch to all. Do yall recommend buying a new 04 bike (i have money to do so) or just find me a used one that i can crash and mess up on...i meen is it THAT hard, to the point where im goin to be fallin over and everything?
Fairings also provide wind protection and better aerodynamicsLouis said:Fairing is what dresses the bike up. It the stuff that covers the bike innards.
Look at my avatar, that bike doesn't have the lower fairing. You can see the engine and other parts. Your avatar is a Gixxer which is a faired bike.
Hope it makes sense.
