OK. I bought one of these fiberglass complete bodywork sets off of e-bay. Good price, especially when compared to what Suzuki wanted (actually cheaper to replace all 5 pieces than to buy the 2 pieces I needed). Anyway, I am rather pleased with what I got. A little coercion, and I talked the fairings on to the frame with little problem... EXCEPT...

How do you mount the headlight and taillight? The upper and tail fairings are missing the necessary tabs to mount these lights (securely). Anybody seen this before? Any suggestions?

Yes and which bike. The Gixxer the tail assembly mounts to the inner portion under the tail section not the fairings. Which bike?

I apologize for my vagueness. Let me try again.

I bought a complete set of bodywork plastic (fiberglass). It includes the upper, the left and right lower, the fender, and the tail. This is supppose to replace the stock bodywork on my 2004 GSXR600 (damaged in an accident).
The problem is that on the original upper fairing, the headlight mounted to four prongs which secure the headlight to the fairing, so there is a good seat between the two. On the replacement, there are no mounting points. The headlight can still be mounted to the upper fairing bracket stay, but is does not seat well with out the prongs. As for the taillight, the taillight is secured by two screws on either side of the light into tabs in the inside of the original tail fairing. Again, the replacement fairing does not have these mounting points on either side to screw the light in.

If necessary I will take pictures. I know you guys have a fix.

First....just asking...are the new fairings made for the 2004 model? There were a few changes I think on the 600 for 04..I know there were alot on my 04 750

Can't quite say for sure. Advertised as "fits 04/05 600/750".
