Well, I was passing of the leather store which also carries motorcycle leathers as well as some helmets. I figured I'd stop to have a look. I got out of there with a HJC AC-11 Maximus.

It's raining today :pissed: , so I'll post my first impression a little later.

Nice looking helmet Louis. I've had several HJC helmets over the years. Only problem I ever encounterd was the visors loosen or wear and will open when looking over your shoulder. Pretty frustrating when you do it a lot in LA traffic. Shoei and Arai lock closed, but even unlocked they haven't blown open on me yet.

What's this rain crap you mentioned? I've got the air conditioning on high today. It's up in the 90's here!

To many things to do around the house today!
Then I have to work tomorrow!
Guess I'll have to be sick of work this week and go for a ride while everyone else is working!

I got an HJC AC-11 solid black when I picked up the bike earlier this week.
My opinion (its my first helmet, what do I know),
its light, fits well, and keeps my head cool in this S. Florida heat.
I have only ridden it with all the vents open.
So with all of them open, wind noise is up there, to the point,
where I barely can hear the motor while doing 50mph (granted, its been a
touch windy down here).
The only quirk I've come across (if you want to call it that), was that on my first day wearing it, I was surprised by a speck of dust that flew into my eye, I guess through one of the vents.

It has to be a prop! Same with the calculator! He just bought a new bike and gear. Why does he needa calculator. He's broke! Oh, it's his wifes! That explains a lot! J/K Louis!

Well, the ginger ale is my wife's and the calculator I used to calculate the angles on the rafters for the doghouse I'm gonna build with the wood left over from the fence work. Geez, good thing I didn't post the picture of me wearing the helmet. My wife was in the background in scanty lingerie...

Now can we concentrate on my new lid. ;)

Tiger, back home, we had Saguenay Dry. Can't find this in Ottawa. Why did we have Saguenay Dry in the first place? It's because Canada Dry wasn't selling as we consider ourselves Quebecers and NOT Canadians. Same reason why Molson Canadian wasn't even sold in Quebec. Of course now that Coors and Molson are one, Molson Canadian doesn't exist anymore either.
