Just picked up new M50 Brocure from stealer. Actual photos instead of renderings we've seen on the site.

I think I'm hooked. Interesting how they've gone from the least expensive 800cc Suzuki offered to up with the most expensive. Only initial downer is they picture a lot of accessories, but absolutely nothing for the M50. :mrgreen:

March / April is what everyone is saying right now. Though some dealers have told me bikes coem in a month or more earlier than advertised date sometimes.

Im sure there will be one for show at Daytona Bike Week in early march.

where are you located? wondering if maybe big cities will see them before the slightly smaller ones? west coast before east coast? etc....

(tampa is not small...but smaller than LA, Chicago, NY, Dallas...etc)

Midwest and no, not a major city. I'm not joking and just telling you what they told me. Don't have any way to know for sure but can't imagine why they would tell me that if it weren't true. He told me it was currently in Chicago and should be delivered within a couple days. With a little luck you may be on a new ride before Daytona!

if they are in the dealer by march 10th i'll be taking it to daytona...i leave on march 11 for the weekend up there. even if i have to pick it up that morning and head straight to daytona i will!

ok...updated information from my end.

ive spoken to three different Suzuki dealers Sales Managers here in tampa, and none of them had heard that the M50 was being shipped anytime soon. They all said they knew February was supposed to be the target release date. I left my name and number with each of them and they said they would contact their Suzuki rep to get more inforamtion and let me know.

i'll keep you all informed (because i know you are waiting on the edge of your seat to know!!) haha

more good news...

stopped by "my" dealer that i have been talking to a sales guy there for two months. he will be the guy i want to buy from as long as they give me a good price. He wasnt in today so i got to talk to the sales manager. he has THREE coming in THIS MONTH. Not sure of colors yet, and no specific day...but THREE THIS MONTH!!

I cant wait till Feb is OVER!

I'm in Crystal River area north of you. Been to two dealers up here and they don't know anything (had to argue with the sales guy in one place that there even was such a thing as a M50). Got a price out of up North of under $6K OTD when they come in, may have to go up there and get one. Post if they have one show up and I'll run down for a look.

i bet there are dealers up in the lake city area and places like that that would be willing to deal. i bought my rx8 from lake city because they wound up saving me over 5k between what they would sell the 8 for and give me for my trade in. small markets have less demand....

buying from somewhere up there just means a nice saturday afternoon ride back to tampa on my new bike! i dont have a problem with that

update: they are shipping out of atlanta warehouse on friday to the dealer where i plan on getting it.

bad news: there is another guy, who was there after work today when i was there, who wants the same bike i do. same color and everything. he has already filled out the financing paperwork! i wonder if they are going to get 2 black ones? i doubt it. there are plenty of dealers around here though.

still havent heard from hawker on which dealer he heard form selling them for under 6 OTD....would really like to know something on that soon
