Hey guys!

I'm Mack from Blythewood, South Carolina. Decided to join here for the sake of having conversations with people who really are knowledgeable about motorcycles. After 55 years of existence here on Earth I've decided to buy my own bike. I've been a big fan of Honda since my dad owned a CD 185 Twin and taught me how to ride when I was still a kid(around 13 to 15 years old). Been riding ever since but I haven't actually owned my own bike and just borrowed from my brother and friends(they are all huge fans of motorcycles)over the years. I just bought a 2018 Honda Gold Wing last month and I'm excited about it but I haven't rode it that much. I'm planning to do some cruising this summer so I'll stay in contact with this community!

Stay safe.

Yes. At least you didn't get a Hardley !!:lol4:

What kind of helmet do you use ?
Does the bike have stock pipes on it ??

It really isn't a good idea to use ear plugs that blocks out ALL of the sound.
Then you wouldn't be able to hear the radio either.
I use an Arai Classic-V helmet. It's an open face helmet. Well, it isn't actually the pipes' fault but the wind noise's. Even though my ears are covered by the helmet I still feel like my ears are getting slapped by the wind.

I've tried using generic foam plugs but my ears hurt every time I wear a pair.
