Hello All!!

New member here from south central Ohio. Newish to riding. I I have been riding since July 2020, but did not get much ride time in last year due to work. Looking forward to interacting with everyone, and maybe even get a local meet set up

Welcome.
I admire your grit for sticking with the S50.
I had one and it ran good.......but was a royal pain in the backside for several other reasons.
I didn't keep mine long.

I got it because it isn't too heavy or hard to learn on. I wanted something that would be basic and easy for me to learn on and once I get my truck paid off and I can afford another car payment, I will maybe go trade it in on something bigger and fancier... Also, it was in my price range and I was able to pay cash for it, which is even better!

Yep. It serves that purpose pretty good.

Hands down the best bike I have ever owned was a Kaw Vulcan 900 Custom.
More power and smoother than you would think.
The Custom has a narrower front tire which makes for better handling.
Yeah I've seen those. They are nice. I may look at one when I look at upgrading.
