Hi, I’m new to the forum. I joined because I wondered if anyone has ever hit an animal? Today I was going about 30mph and a cat went in front of me. I stopped dead and the cat was right by my front wheel. I just can’t tell if I hit it or not. It ran off and when I found it it ran off again. I’m having visions of a crumpled up cat in a garden somewhere in agony. I would have skidded if I’d gone over it’s legs or heard a thud if I’d hit it? Thanks for the forum join and if anyone has any experience of wiping out felines on the road...

If it ran away twice, the odds are great that it isn't hurt bad, even if you did hit it.
Stop beating yourself up.
