Hello Everybody,
I've just purchased a new 2004 Suzuki Intruder(Silver). This is the first bike I've owned in 10years. Glad to be back riding. I've only been able to put about 270 miles on in the 2 weeks that I've owned it, but I love it. One reason I love the bike, besides the awesome style, is the seat height. I'm only 5'5" with a short inseam and I can touch flat-footed with both feet. My only complaint is that I need a better seat for my wife and I. The new S50 was nice, but it didn't standout like this one. I'll post a picture later.

I've added some River Road Saddlebags and a Memphis Shade Fat 21". Waiting for my Chatterbox Multi-Sport communicator to come in. Does anybody have any reviews on the communicator?

My wife actually is the one that was starting to get the fever again. I hadn't looked until she said something. A week later we own a new bike. I used to own a 83 Yamaha Midnight Maxim (Black w/Gold Accent) with Full Fairing and Removable Hard Saddlebags. I loved the bike, until it got knocked over one night the fairing and tank were damaged and the bike was never the same.

Congrats on the new baby! My VS800 has been completely headache free for over 25,000 miles now, needing only basic maintenance. I recently changed from the stock tires to Metzeler 880's, and the bike now handles a whole lot better than stock. My rear shocks are just about worn out, so progressive 418s are on my winter wish list.
The stock seat is hard as a brick, and mine is just now starting to break in and get soft...I guess you don't want to wait 25,000 miles for this to happen! The Suzuki gel seat is a really good one for the VS800, and Corwin makes a good comfortable seat also.

I don't see much difference between the VS800 and the S50 except with the S50 you pay more to not get a backrest / sissybar. At least the C50 has some improvment over the Volusia. THE C50's model number is still VL800 on the owners manual... 8)

You picked a nice bike that will leave your face sore from smiling too much. You could have worse problems.
