Greetings all, Newbie here,
Just bought my first bike, GS500f, less than one hour old, and I dropped it getting it off the trailer. At least I broke the new paint/ground magnetism, (I hope). Anyways looking forward to some great experiences on the open road.

Here we go again with personality thing. What kind a personality does a Blue White Gixxer have with a slight scuff on the upper fairing, mag over scratched up and lower fairing cracked in two places? And bug guts and dirt all over?

It has the personality of someone 2,000 miles away from the west coast sweating it's arse off avoiding traffic and slowing down on the straights with watch full eye. :lol:

Well, I bought a new Katana 750 for my first bike. Dropped it the second day I had it while practicing figure eights (like you do for the MSF test).

It's amazing how much of a difference there is between the 270 pound Kawasaki that I used in the MSF class and a 465 pound Katana. It's also amazing how fast the thing will go down once it starts to happen. I fought it pretty well and managed to get away with a slightly scuffed exhaust and a couple of scratches on the fairing.

I was mad for a couple of hours, but now I have a story to tell

Well it's good to know I'm not alone when it comes to bike character. :lol: Although I was hoping to at least make it thru the first week, lol. :roll:
