I'll be leaving the LA area about 4 or 5 am this coming Saturday and heading for the Sierras. Just a day of riding some twisty backroads, and meeting up with my club for some rides. Going to be wandering around in the Kings Canyon, Sequoia National Forest Area. Should be back in LA between 7 and 9pm, and probably 6 to 8 hundred miles later.

Anyone feeling up to joining me for a day ride? :biker:

Sounds good, except I will need to be in Irvine on Saturday to take care of a piece of property I'm buying.

After dinner today, I rode north on Azusa into the San Gabriel mountains for about 20 miles before turning back due to road closure. During the last week, I have put in more than 400 miles and counting. I now have 960 miles on this bike, on top of the 920 miles when I got it just a little over a month ago. I think I will take it in for an oil change this Friday.
