I was wondering if anyone thinks this would make a good first bike? I like the fact that its cheap and used, but i think it might have a bit much to much power. The kid wants to sell it for $2100 u.s. $2500 if he fixes his left fairing. Its a 93 Yamaha FZR 600.

The 600s from that era weren't as crazy fast as they are now. A person with a judicious right wrist will do all right.
