So I was getting ready to do the 600 mile engine/final gear oil change, when I discovered two streaks of oil running down the right side of the chrome bottom cover. I panicked a bit, thought my bike was leaking oil already. After looking around for the source of the leak, found a little droplet of oil just about to fall from the air filter drain plug. I pulled out the plug, low and behold oil was coming out of there. I put the plug back in and thinking to myself that I should just leave it there and bring the bike into the dealer tomorrow. Just out of curiosity, I picked up the owner's manual and turn to the page about air filter. In there, it has a little paragraph stating "...drain water and oil at the periodic maintenance interval." by remove this plug. I then begin to feel a little better since the manual did mention the word "oil". To make a long story short, I only have 615 miles. Should that much oil been in there already? I haven't opened up the air filter yet, will do this tomorrow but where would the oil come from and how does it get in there? Should I be concern and bring my bike in to the dealer to have them look at?

Thanks for reading.

BTW, I am riding C50.

huh?? I remember reading that too, but I never noticed mine leaking. It could be a fluke thing it happened within the first 600 miles. If it did it every 600 I would be concerned. But its probably fine. Maybe you have some tight valves and oil is blowing back up through the air intake. That might
make it happen.
