Anybody know what is entailed? I pulled the head and cylinder off my kid's JR50 only to find the piston hopelessly scarred and the cylinder almost unsalvageable. It looks like oil starvation. I never liked oil injection.

So what's entailed in a conversion to premixing the fuel. I'm guessing, removed the oil pump and block off the intake and rejet the carburetor to the next size up.

Any opinions one way or the other? I don't want to have to do this again and I don't trust the oil pump any more.
