OK guys, it's your favorite forum member without (at the moment) a moto here.... Beware, semi-long post ahead :p

I plopped down the cash, and am currently in the whole MSF course. Thursday was a 4 hour class instruction thing...and then... today.... at about 7:30 AM, i got on my first real motorcycle.....

OH MY GOD, THAT WAS SOOOOOO MUCH FUN

Seriously....wow, that was fun :D. In anticipation of todays event's I couldn't sleep last night. I was anxious, I was counting the hours before I would be able to get on one. Yes, seriously. I was awake at 3, ready to go...had trouble sleeping off and on till about 5, did my morning stuffs, left at 6:00 to get to the place.

My Assigned bike: Suzuki GZ250.

First thoughts: Felt a little heavier than I expected the first time taking it from side to side. Seat hurt my butt. I was nervous. Took a few minutes to get used to having my full face helmet on. Didn't particularly like the way the motorcycle sounded.

After the first few noob excercises, got the hang of it somewhat, but took me a little longer to learn to use the clutch. Friction zone is like 1/4 maybe 1/5th of the full play in the clutch, which also took a little bit to get used to. (to those who've taken it, their stop n go n stop n go thing really helped out).

After that... It felt completely natural. Practice definitely makes perfect, and I am SO glad I decided to take this course..... for those of you *thinking* of taking it...don't think about it, just do it. I can now truly see why you guys love riding so much... It is definitely an experience that cannot be explained with words.

Today was practice... made it into 3rd gear though, and that was hella fun... I only wish they gave us more time, and let us do solo rounds... every time they gave us breaks (I would say they made us get off the bikes... I didn't want to), I couldn't wait to get right back on.

Well, Tomorrow is the field test... that's gonna be fun too, im sure :D. I'll let you guys know how it goes tomorrow :p

On a side note.... now would be a good time to tell you about charity. Doesn't it feel good, to give to the less fortunate than yourselves? I know how good that feels...and I want to pass that good feeling on to you guys, just 'cause you're all so great. Let me tell you about cracKness's Give to help get a down payment a lot quicker for his bike fund.... ;)

Yeah the class is hella fun especially if you've never riden<spelling?> or it's been a long time since. I passed the class yesterday, unfortunatly I also crashed that same day. It was my first crash on a street bike, only 10-15 mph, just banged up the knee. If you crash just get back up man, if you're not hurt too bad it's all mental. I'm glad I took the class, I needed it, and yes everyone should take the class. Like you craKness I too am saving up for a bike, if you get an excess of money send some by way.

Peace

I'm back.... Wow, today was a workout. Lots of swerving, quick stops, confined space u-turns (figure 8 portion), speed (relative) cornering, leaning... FUN :D

Passed my evaluation, and now have my card thingy that says I passed. Tuesday morning at like 7:00 I shall be at the DMV getting my motorcycle endorsement :p

I asked the instructor about the bike I was on (it ended up getting extremely uncomfortable), and he told me that the bike was kinda small for me (the gz250). My *** still hurts from riding that bike... other than that... I had way more fun than I ever thought I would have had. To those who recommend it, I thank ya, and I recommend it myself now... Definitely worth the money, and well worth being called an investment as opposed to just saying you spent money there.

You guys are awesome... Honestly, offering your time to manage my finances... Even fighting for the chance to help me out... but worry not, your time is worth well more than I could ever ask of you, so Paypal will be managing my finances ;-).

So lets make some calculations (Im sure your time is worth well over $500 an hour), so say 10 hours managing my finances would've been worth $5000. Just paypal me half of that, and you'd be saving money as well as still helping me out. See, isn't that a lot easier?? :p

Well that's a great idea CracKness! I'll put the funds into my Paypal account and with your contribution, I should have my Busa by New Years! Thanks! With you donating your savings, you'll have more time to contemplate and study riding and improving your skills. I think you have a great idea there! Besides it is winter and new riders should wait for optimal conditions right? :biker:

See, that would be all fine and dandy, but sadly, I have already contributed all my savings to the inital cause of Give to help get a down payment a lot quicker for cracKness's bike, so unfortunately, I cannot contribute to your busa fund. :sry:

Oh, and I live in South Florida... Optimal riding conditions all year long   :bluethum:

Ignore CracKness, It's actually very cold and wet in Florida and Southern California during the winter! So everyone stay home!

Just what the heck are certidied funds ?.

Solicitation of funds on this site are strictly prohibited without the approuval of the board of directors. With approuval a 10% fee is expected to be donated to the Suzuki-Bikes admin retirement fund but without approuval this fee rises to 75%. So please paypal your illgotten funds to [email protected].

Cold and wet ! Sounds much better than freezing and icy !

I would like to contribute $1000. I will send you a cashiers check from the National Bank of Phukutoo for $2000 and you could just wire the extra $1000 back to my bank account in the Caymans. Cool? 8)

Do it yourself Scam ...

Dear Sir,

Urgent And Confidential Business Proposal

I am woman’s name, widow of the late African country head of state, man’s name. After he death of my husband who died mysteriously as a result of cardiac arrest, I was informed by our lawyer, another name that, my husband who at that time was the president of African country, called him and conducted him round his apartment and showed him four metal boxes containing money all in foreign exchange and he equally made him believe that those boxes are for onward transfer to his overseas counterpart for personal investment.

Along the line, my husband died and since then the African country government has been after us, molesting, policing and freezing our bank accounts and even my eldest son right now is in detention. My family account in Switzerland worth US$ big number and another big numbermale name dutch mark has been confiscated by the government. The government is interrogating him (my son male name) about our asset and some vital documents. It was in the course of these, after the burial rite and customs, that our lawyer saw your name and address from the publication of the African country business promotion agency. This is why I am using this opportunity to solicit for your co-operation and assistance to help me as a very sincere responsible person. I have all the trust in you and i know that you will not sit on this money.

I have succeeded in carrying the four metal boxes out of the country, with the aid of some top government official, who still show sympathy to my family, to a neighbouring country (another African country) to be precise. I pray you would help us in getting this money transferred over to your country. Each of these metal boxes contains us$big number (big number in words United States dollars only) and together these four boxes contain us$big number x 4 (big number x 4 in words United States dollars only). This is actually what we have moved to another African country.

Therefore, I need an urgent help from you as a man of God to help get this money in another African country to your country. This money, after getting to your country, would be shared according to the percentage agreed by both of us. please note that this matter is strictly confidential as the government which my late husband was part of is still under surveillance to probe us.

You can contact me through my family lawyer as indicated above and also to liaise with him towards the effective completion of this transaction on tel/fax no international telephone number as he has the mandate of the family to handle this transaction.

Thanks and best regard

woman’s name
