While riding Sunday I came across this warning sign. Don't most motorcycles have chains on the drive wheel? Not to mention that it was also 75 degrees and sunny!

So, you have to intepret that as ... no new-fangled shaft-drive or belt-drive bikes allowed!

Believe it or not, there are some ski areas (Big Bear Lake) outside Los Angeles. It's an LA cultural event to do a Ski-and-Surf day ... skiing in Big Bear in the morning, then heading down to the beach to go surfing in the afternoon.

Wow you do remember LA! But I prefer to ride to Newcombs during the winter, at about snow level for breakfast, then go out to the Rock store and Neptunes net for an afternoon ride around the coast. Of course the couple hundred canyon miles cranked out between the two is a big plus! :bluethum:

I'm working in Santa Barbara on a custom beach home! Good surf just 100 yards down th beach. Bet the water is a lot warmer than PA too! :lol:
